ok i make a note that i don't need to worry and will stay on "default".

considering the justification you give, i completely understand why you
did not use a named branch, but i understand that the right thing to do
with mercurial in that case would be to set up a separate clone to
handle the 6.0 devel branch. is that not feasible in anselm's webserver?
