I have no input regarding the patch or state of the table, but with regards to
this part - you can always use a better editor? i.e. in vim you can adress this
problem in two ways: folding the lines that don't interest you, or making
another window above your wokrking one, then you can scale it so that it would
only show one line - table header, and then in the window below, the work
window, you can proceed to do your changes to the table. What I'm trying to say
is that if this is the only reason for change it might be not enough.
