Why is keypress renamed to "keypressrelease"?

My opinion is that "keypress" is an appropriate name anyway, since I
consider a release to be just one part of a "press" (which consists of
depression and then release). Maybe this terminology is not the same as
X, but I think most English speakers use it this way.

Even if it isn't, I think "keyevent" is more generalisable, since it can
be bound to other potential key events in this case, too.
