I'm confused precisely what you're saying: I've just pulled hg tip. In
layout.c in zoom(), there's such a test. So are you saying that that
test vanishes but zoom remains the function that you call via
keybindings in config.h? That I can sorta understand, but you seem to
be suggesting something else?
