While there may be an amount of tolerance that you deem reasonable, I realize that there's a slippery slope here, as well. Next thing will be that this community is supposed to accept patches not on the content of someone's patches, but on immutable characteristics about them, or worse, characteristics they claim to have mutated in a particular fashion simply in order to be in a position to grandstand. Yes, this is a caricatured example, but it's at the core of the wider conversations society is having on topics around self-determination. Back when I found this place, I really enjoyed how strongly people were able to express their opinions. That doesn't mean that I agree with them or their character. Again, there's something wrong in the world, and it's not that we're not asking enough people what our opinions should be.
