[hackers] [surf] [bug] Use WebKit-native downloads instead of curl?

Hi y'all,

I noticed that resource downloads happen through an elaborate DOWNLOAD
command invoking curl. While I don't necessarily have anything against
curl, I wonder: why use it instead of WebKit-native
webkit_policy_decision_download and related signals? Seems more robust
to rely on what WebKit provides. Am I missing something?
