Make sure that you path is set properly like:

PATH=/usr/local/wmii-snapshot/bin/:$PATH

because it looks like wmii cannot start the other essential
processes it assumes them in the path (or runs older wmii-2 ones).
Also looks like wmir is from wmii-2 (just guessing).

Though it doesn't breaks anything an older 9rc version yet, I recommend to
upgrade to 9base-20051028.

Should be /home/kermit/.wmii-3/wmirc and be executable. But the
main problem seems the PATH.
