you can't enter it in xterm because I have to open xterm to enter it
in xterm and wmii does not respond to any keystrokes at all. So how am

~/.xinitirc actually, this is what startx reads and executes whatever
WM I have provided in there. I tried adding this line both in
~/.xinitrc and ~/.Xsession (one by one) and it still does not work. I
am using ratpoison for now, as a drop-in replacement.
