Just tried with 3.9a2 and got pretty much the same results just
processes list changed:
/bin/sh /home/michu/.xsession
/usr/local/bin/wmii
-tcsh -c /home/michu/.wmii/wmiirc (tcsh)
/usr/local/bin/wmii
/bin/sh -f /home/michu/.wmii/wmiirc
wmiir read /event
/bin/sh -f /home/michu/.wmii/wmiirc
-tcsh (tcsh)
ps x

Any ideas, please?
