Although it's not a library, Simon Tataham's puzzle collection is a large
set (34?) of small and addictive (unequal, solo, cube, net and map are my
favorites) games. The code is remarkably modular and most games share a lot
of boilerplate code. It's written in C and it's very flexible with the
choice of GUI toolkits etc. It has been ported to Android even.
