I want a minimalistic distro on a CDROM with Samba, tor (with the most
fascist¶noid I can find (excluding excessive noise), help
appreciated), aircrack-ng, a web browser, email, a JavaScript
interpreter and irc. As I won't run anything else (ok, maybe a game or
two) I shouldn't need X (assuming OpenGL actually works smoothly on a
framebuffer device).
It will only have to run on standard Dell business machines with
Pentium processors so hardware support shouldn't be a problem.
Will sta.li serve as a solid base or would you rather recommend some
other distro? Has anyone "ported" a fully functional browser to sta.li
sans X yet? I'd like to keep boot times low, thus it should load as
little unnecessary cruft and graphics from the CD at boot as possible.
