Well you always can patch stuff.

Because it is useful feature, don't know how much thinking you have put in
before asking. Example you have entires:

"lorem gibberish lapsum", "lorem gibberish lipsum", "lorem lorem"

you type "lorem li" second get selected since it is using separate match,
useful feature at that! If you want "lorem l" to match third you have to forgo
described feature, or swith behaviour mid typing way and I think that would be
quite confusing.
