I can confirm this bug with 64 bit Arch Linux with DWM on a Dell inspiron 1545. I can only reproduce this when launching st from the CTRL-ALT-ENTER shortcut. Launching ST from dmenu causes no issue. Launching other terminals from CTRL-ALT-ENTER causes no issue. The kernel does not hang. The display does not work. I cannot shift tty's, but SYSRQ works just fine.
