Yahoo, I just compiled dwm-6.0 and this works perfectly as you
described.
I think I can go with the extra keys needed for now.
So there's something wrong with the git version.

Not using virtualbox; I cannot help here.
Thank you all for your input.
I will later try to set up some rules, but as I understand it, they are
applied only when the client is startet. Gonna have a look and see what
happens.
