I'm quite happy with:
"Fantasque Sans Mono:pixelsize=16:antialias=true:autohint=false"
It looks great for reading text, and it's easy to tell "il1|" apart, and "<({["
look very distinct as well. My only beef is that the ascii single quote looks
exactly like the unicode apostrophe/"smart"-close-single-quote.
