I am working on a patch to use a different color (red probably)
depending on status text. You can use as a base for your needs. Hope I
finish it later today.

I plan using it as part of my evil stdin commands mini-language. It
will possible to feed stdin with things like:

status: the time is 18:00
important: CPU is about to melt at 99 degrees

In fact, I think this additional foreground color may be used to
soft-highlight the invisible tags for a client...just kidding :)
