Yes, I still have those greyish blobs, using dwm tip (922:dffe81e7e32e),
ie. dwm 4.3. They still show up with Mathematica 6 (I found no other app
that shows them), so I didn't notice any changes (except that they don't
appear in front of all clients anymore, but that was some commits ago).
