So I too have to repeat what I said on the ML several times. It's not a
question of "proper font configuration", but something deeply fucked
with – possibly – the XLC_LOCALE file.

All those problems with utf-8 rendering (even with something as basic as
the Polish "ł" letter) are not related to a font (which we all know we
have set up correctly by giving numerous examples and screenshots).

However, it does seem strange that the problems manifests itself only
with the code used in suckless projects like dwm and dmenu.
