If the patches were the only guideline in this regard
no development would happen at all.
I understand the challenge, but as long as we do not
tag a new version everything is fine.
If you are on the bleeding edge, feel free to contribute
to the wiki by updating the patches. We don't need
consumers nagging here.
On another note, by making the style consistent future
patches won't have to be "re-merged".
Better do this early than not at all or regretting it later.
