That is what I have done and found that
static const char font[] =
"-*-fixed-medium-r-semicondensed-*-13-*-*-*-*-*-*-*";
is identical to
static const char font[] =
"-*-terminus-medium-r-*-*-16-*-*-*-*-*-*-*";
and has Greek support.
