Whoops. I meant xprop only shows 'preferred' geometry info, instead
of showing the actual geometry info.

For example, here is the geom info for an rxvt:

WM_NORMAL_HINTS(WM_SIZE_HINTS):
                program specified minimum size: 25 by 22
                program specified resize increment: 9 by 18
                program specified base size: 16 by 4
                window gravity: NorthWest
