Hi there,
I created a new snap of wmii-4-current for those who don't
follow hg tip or who haven't installed hg:
http://wmii.de/snaps/wmii-20060531.tar.gz
This snap contains following changes:
- 1 empty view is supported on select
- wmiir ls shows Tstat/directory info without
user/timestamp/size info
- wmiir ls -l shows full Tstat/directory info
- wmiir read behaves like 9p read
- removed swapping
- renamed /def/rules into /def/tagrules
- removed /def/colwidth and /def/colmode
- added /def/colrules, syntax is similiar to /def/tagrules
/tag/ -> n[+m[+p]]
The amount of concatenated values (n, m, p) defines the amount
of columns which are created automatically, n, m, p are
percentage values of the colwidth (scaled with screen width),
the sum of those values must be 100, e.g.
/1/ -> 60+40 (default wmiirc rule)
This opens two columns on the second managed client with first
column using 60% of available screen width and second column
using 40%
/def/colrules are only used if clients are executed, moving
clients manually has no effect and takes the default scaling
as you know it (like /def/colwidth == 0 in wmii-3)
- several fixes
Known issues:
- mouse based movements are broken atm
PS: the wmii-4-current repository is different to the wmii-3
stable repository which only contains bugfixes of wmii-3 and
which will be released as wmii-3.1 in 10 days.
Regards,
