Yep. Something like this will do it:
term & sleep 1; kill -STOP $!
Then, select the new term and M-S-c, and, after 10 seconds (I
think) you should get an xmessage.

Yeah, sorry if development seemed dead (although I appreciate
sqweek's work). I'm just better at writing code after I've had
some time away from it. (And I just didn't have the time or
energy to keep up with the lists or IRC).
