yes, that compiles fine now :)

but another new bug. Every X-Terminal's command prompt appears like this
only:

  bash: 3-00$

when it should be: [arnuld_AT_raj ~]$

one more thing, Mod-p fails 50% of the times, it does not run any
application around 50% of the times.
