thank you for your fast reply. I was out for the weekend ...
one of my basic problems is, that I can do

> wmiir read rbar/status

and it gives me what I expect, but its not showing in my normal
vanilla wmii setup. I can even run `status' from the actions menu (hope
that's the right term) and nothing happens.

I'm kind of clueless can anybody help?
