On Fri, 2 Mar 2007, I posted a note that opened with this sentence:

Just to re-express my wish for st: don't architect the code in a way that
assumes the colour scheme is set-up on start-up and never changes.
(You don't have to actually provide any means to change the colour
if you feel it doesn't fit the philosophy, but it's a real pain trying to
retrofit colour-changing to those terminals which weren't designed with
colour changing in mind.)
