I use rxvt-unicode, which also has -fade support. But that doesn't work
for the browser or pdf viewer which aren't terminals.

Thanks for the tip anyway. But these 2 things were just suggestions, I
am sure a lot of other usable things could be accomplished with
composite/transparency support. Not that it's much needed in wmii
anyway, but e.g. an expose like display of all currenlty running windows
or such things.
