There are ways around this. 2 ways
1. make a dmenu_ssh script that you start with a shortcut and then simply
choose the server you want from a list of servers:
SERVER=$(cat /path/to/server-list | dmenu -p "server:" )
yoursshtool $SERVER
Then you do suc<TAB><ENTER>
2. make a script and put it in f.ex /usr/local/bin called f.ex: myssh
that runs
SERVER=$(cat /path/to/server-list | dmenu -p "server:" )
yoursshtool $SERVER
Then you do mys<TAB><ENTER>suc<TAB><ENTER>
