Yeah -- pretty much what I expected: no surprises under Gentoo.
Sunaku's github wmiirc setup works with out-of-the-box WMII 3.9.2.

... now if I could only figure out why Ruby 1.9.2 is constantly at
around 50% CPU utilization ... blech! ;-)
