I'm just a user of some suckless software, but anyway: if "suck" in this thread
is used with the semi-technical sense of "not abiding by the suckless philosophy",
then Windows, by concealing the source code entirely, sucks way more than
Ubuntu, which encourages the occasional foray into the terminal emulator, and
the occasional compile.
I believe it's likely that many people have reached a point in which the suckless philosophy
makes sense for them by starting with Ubuntu -- I'm one of them.
