I don't need adblocking inside the browser. I'm using a hosts
file that I appended to /etc/hosts and that's it. It's faster
than a plugin based solution since those usually even use
regular expressions and such.
It has some minor drawbacks though:
- every host has to be specified literally - no pattern matching
- you can't disable adblocking depending on the site visited
