Thanks for your reply, Eric.
I added
{ XK_Tab, ControlMask, "\033[27;5;9~", 0, 0},
to "static Key key[] = {" section, and prescribed
escape ^[[27;5;9~
in my ~/.screenrc, but the combination CTRL+Tab doesn't work for
"escape" command for screen. Instead I get ";5;9~" printed after the
prompt when I press CTRL+Tab.
