Ok, SVN dzen (svn checkout http://dzen.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/ dzen)
has the ability to grow/shrink the title dynamically now.

You can toggle this feature with the '-expand <l|c|r>' option.
Where 'l' means grow to the left, 'r' grow to the right and '-c'
grow on both ends. ('-c' is not implemented yet)

Please give it a try and report your experiences back.
