As pointed out, it is relevant where the keybindings are made
valid through the knorm call. In wmii-2 this is at the end of
keys script (wmira knorm). You have to create above keybinding
before this final call or alternatively you have to invoke knorm
from the menu manually once. knorm triggers wmikeys to grab the
keys defined in the normal subdirectory of /keys/mode/
