[wmii] Mouse issues

I seem to have an issue with my mouse locking in the latest version of
wmii running on the latest Ubuntu. Tried the .deb and also compiled from
the source and still have the issue ..

Basically, the mouse will move, but it will not let me select any of the
windows. Autofocus doesn't work, and simply clicking on the window won't
bring it into focus either.

Is this a known issue? Am I doing something stupid like locking a
window?
