[wmii] proposal - listener process facility

One thing which could help make wmii more flexible is if it were
possible to run some kind of 'filter process', which could receive event
notifications from wmii, such as:
 - window open/close/move/resize
 - page create/delete/change
 - column create/delete/status change
The input could come into the process' stdin (by running wmii in a
certain mode and piping its stdout), or the process could read from a
unix socket.

That would allow people to write programs in their favourite language to
listen for these events, and to react to them by executing 'wmiir' and
other commands.

Any thoughts on this?
