I like the approach to have a prefixkey like CRTL-t. To send CRTL-t to
the client you may press CRTL-t twice, thus you don't have "shortcut
clashes" at all. You may adopt the new binding to your wmiirc by this:
s/$MODKEY-/Control-t,/ig
