[wmii] Floating workspaces... odd behaviour?

Hi all,
this is my first post on this list...

I switched from Ion3 to wmii-3 at the beginning of this week. Thanks for
the great job, I feel really comfortable with it. I expecially like the
tag driven workspaces.

I would like to report an odd behoaviour I sometimes encounter when I
use flating workspaces...

If I have two applications running in a float (ie: psi and licq), and I
switch to a different workspace and come back to the float one, the
windows of the applications end to be overlapped and placed at the top
left corner of the screen.

Is this a bug or an application specific issue?

Morover, I was wondering if the support of a scratchpad is planned for
wmii or not (it might be senseless, but I found it really useful when I
was using Ion). I think it would be nice to have a small floating
workspace which lies on top of every workspace and can be turned
visible/hidden at need.

If it is not, is there a way to achieve the same result with a script or
someting?

Thanks in advance.

ciao
alex
