Yes, I'm at work (hence the irritating lack of root access) and I have
Super_L == WinKey.

I tried both of these already, as well as (eg)
--------------------------------------------------
$ xmodmap -pm -display :1.0
Xlib: connection to ":1.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

xmodmap: unable to open display ':1.0'
--------------------------------------------------

etc etc. No joy :(
