Yes.

No. The reason is, as you said, the function keys are too small and
spaced too closely.

I can still use the Dvorak layout on a "standard" 104-key keyboard,
but with mild annoyance at the difference of some key locations
(braces, brackets, plus, minus).

Yeah, they are among the most used keys.

I would rather have split the keyboard into two halves which can be
placed further apart, or rotated to your satisfaction. The keyboard
is a bit too cramped for me, so I'll nevertheless experience mild
ulnar deviation. :-/
