[wmii] failure on startup

With the latest version of libixp and wmii (from hg) I have the
following error on startup:

wmii: fatal error: Xrequest code=18, Xerror code=2
X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range
for operation)
  Major opcode of failed request: 18 (X_ChangeProperty)
  Value in failed request: 0x40
  Serial number of failed request: 12
  Current serial number in output stream: 14

About my system:
arch: x86-64, gcc: 4.2.0, X.org: 7.2.0
smth else?

Sorry, I'm not familiar with C development, so I don't know how to get
a trace. But I'll try to do it with your help.
