It's actually the core-issue. If you spend more time with
Google, you'll see that behind the facade, all this encouragement for
free software development is not to benefit the community, but actually
build up trust for the betrayal of each and every user of Google
products.
Google's business is the business of selling data. This implies that
every time you deal with Google, you implicitly deal with massive
surveillance and data-collection.
If Google adds itself to software-licenses, in my and many others'
eyes, this project becomes associated with all what's negative about
Google.

Don't let yourself get fooled by the hip and trendy appearence of this
company. Behind the scenes, it's just another Microsoft having
discovered you can exploit the community to develop the software mostly
for you.
