I did post a screenshot ages ago where I use multiple windows of opera
instead of stupid tabs and let wmii handle the rest.
It was a bit difficult, but it's still possible to hide all interfaces.
But people don't want to learn...
I still use only opera and dillo on linux.

Leaving off the interface isn't going to change the fact that the JavaScript in a deviantArt page uses a third of a gigabyte of memory, and I'm almost sure I could configure Opera to display no interface by default. At least the people working on Opera get paid to deal with Web "technology".
