The most important thing is that the keybindings should be consistent
with the mouseclick behaviour. I've tried the (hg tip default) view
adding as well as Ross' view toggling, and I believe I like the
toggling better. So I agree that the yet to appear default bindings,
as well as Button3, should toggle rather than just add.
After using the toggling for a while I also agree that deselecting the
last tag should be disallowed. Allowing it would involve code to
handle some cornercases (such as starting an app when no tag is
selected for viewing), while it wouldn't lead to any clear benefit
(other than the ability to take a look at your wallpaper :-).

view_all can be usefull I guess, but I don't see much purpose for
view_inverse. Part of keeping things simple is not adding cornercase
functionality, so I'm not sure that should be in default.
