I'm not sure what feature you're referring to. The cpt idea appeals to
me but until now i haven't tried to implement it myself.

There are many (unrelated) changes on the source which is the reason i
stopped writing patches and moved on to fork dwm. If i'd grok what
you're looking for i'd be happy to help backporting ideas.
