Great! IMHO now is more elegant... and more minimal too. :-)

Yes, now it builds without any warnings or errors.

IMHO it will be less comfortable, the MOD() approach is very easy, and
more dwm-ish. Give a look to window(1), you can find it on a NetBSD
system, it has got a command mode, and it's less usable and comfortable than
dvtm, IMO.

I (re)installed it right now, and I see that it is more stable and also
complete, the window title feature make it a complete WM, ops TWM:
Terminal Window Manager! :-)
