The only way is to patch/add existing/new layouts in the code to
match your needs. The layout interface is changing atm and will
be different with next snap (supposed to appear today). This
will contain the VERY long awaited column layout beside the
fixes of the focus annoyances. The new interface will provide
you a pretty easy way to extend wmii with your own layouts,
which may or may not also handle Xinerama in a intelligent way.

The reason why we dropped the custom layout syntax is, that it
didn't supported a good way to handle arbitrary clients.
