Bullshit, there should be no option because inc handling should
_always_ be enabled. Because that is how X works! If your X clients
ask for braindamaged crap, too frking bad, X is braindamaged, big
news! If you don't want inc-handling use clients that don't ask for
it!

We have gone over this shit a thousand times, one more example of you
gratuitously and pointlessly fiddling around with crap just because.

And yes, this is different from having border-less apps, because not
removing the border has no functional downsides(and has a few
upsides); but not doing inc-handling when an app asks for it breaks
most apps. Most apps ask for inc handling, and they should get it
because otherwise they don't work properly. It is _you_ who is adding
an option by having different managed and floating behaviour, forcing
the user to configure every app to be floating in case it requires inc
handling.

If you are going to do this, do it properly, _force_ all apps that ask
for inc handling to be floating; but we all know that will be totally
unacceptable because almost all apps ask for it.

P.S.: And in case anyone buys into garbeam's lies, Plan 9 certainly
has no inc-handling (thank god), but X has it, and WMII is a WM for X
apps.
