How should one guess a state change? ICCCM only defines a way
that clients may ask for input focus, but I can't think of
anything else, except a client disappeared or appeared with a
specific tag. We could think about a notification event for tags
which is generated in such scenarios (attach/detach/focus
request) for /event consumers, which contains the tag(s) as
arguments and would let you allow to set a different color to
the specific tag label.
