Yet another idea which has been implemented in hg tip, which
seems straightforward. Instead of having the $MODKEY-Shift-n
shortcut to create new columns, I recently removed this. Instead
columns are created to the left or to the right on column
boundaries driven by move next/prev. This makes the overall
concept more easy and natural and reduces once key combo. And a
benefit is, that we now really have hjkl homerow navigation and
manipulation shortcuts.
